What is Uttapen?
Uttapen (uttapen.ir, in Persian یوتاپن) is an LLM API gateway for developers in Iran. With one Uttapen key and the official OpenAI SDK, changing nothing but base_url, you reach GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and 400+ other models, without an international card, without a VPN, paying from a toman wallet. Uttapen is built by Utta, a web and software company in Tabriz.
The name
Uttapen is one word, uttapen.ir; the name starts with Utta, the company that builds it. It is a software product, not the South Indian dish uttapam.

Infrastructure
The panel, the wallet and the keys sit on a server inside Iran, and only the model call crosses the border; no request reaches a foreign service from an Iranian IP. The catalogue is refreshed every hour. Uttapen is not tied to any one model maker; when a model leaves the catalogue, its page says so. Text of API requests is not stored (the details).
